Austin Robare, CPFA®

Senior Financial Advisor

Before his career began in earnest, Austin was already managing real capital. As an undergraduate studying Finance and Management at Mercyhurst University, he was part of the Laker Asset Management Team, a student-run fund that gave him an early, hands-on sense of what financial decisions mean for the people behind them. That experience pointed him toward the kind of work he does now, where the technical rigor of a well-constructed plan matters as much as the relationship within which it is built.

What distinguishes Austin's approach is both the depth he brings to the work and the long-term commitment that frames it. He works carefully through the tax, retirement, and estate dimensions of each client's situation because he understands that a good plan needs sustained attention to remain effective. He is early enough in his career that the strategies he is building with clients today are ones he expects to see through over decades, not hand off before retirement, and that orientation shapes how he invests in every relationship. Clients describe him as approachable and easy to talk to, noting that he has a consistent ability to make complex financial topics accessible without losing the substance behind them.

Before joining Lifetime Wealth Management, Austin worked at Equitable Advisors. In addition to his individual client work, he collaborates closely with the firm's in-house CPA team to develop coordinated strategies for retirement plan sponsors, working across both the investment and tax dimensions of qualified plan management.

Originally from Watertown, New York, a city that competes annually for the title of snowiest in the state, Austin now lives in Hamburg with his fiancée Clare and their two cats, Tigger and Beckham. He stays closely connected with his family, including his parents Mike and Leslie and his brother Joel. Outside the office, Austin is an avid golfer and traveler, and played Division II lacrosse at Mercyhurst.
